The SC-304S is a two channel simultaneous charger, which can automatically recognise the type of battery being charged (Ni-Mh and Lithium-Ion).
Also included are 2 x S-8172S V-mount batteries, which can be split into 2 parts totaling 160Wh capacity, with a D-tap socket for camera lights and accessories. The 8172S’ have a 4-level indicator to give a view of remaining power before mounting to camera, and a connecting shoe for wireless receiver (S-7002). Built-in intelligent circuits protect against abnormal current, voltage and temperature levels.

The Li-ion contents of each part of the S-8172S comply with IATA safe air transportation regulations.
