Manfrotto 519 Pro Video Head
It's a fact that not all cameras weigh the same. Some mini DV cameras may weigh only 2 pounds while professional grade DV cameras can weigh up to 22 pounds. Professionals have as many equipment options as they do shooting styles, utilizing a wide range of different cameras including MINI DV, DVCAM, HD, and ENG. When using numerous accessories, many of these setups can quickly overload video heads above the maximum recommended weight.
Understanding the problems that professional videographers face, Manfrotto has developed the 519, a compact, yet heavy duty fluid video head capable of accommodating a counterbalance payload from 3.3 pounds up to 19.8 pounds. This revolutionary breakthrough makes the 519 the only video head on the market encompassing both interchangeable and adjustable counterbalance springs. Combining both features will allow videographers to easily interchange a vast array of cameras of various weights as well as quickly fine tune the perfect balance point of whatever camera being used, all with just one head! In addition, fluid drag is easily controlled with a large numbered knob in seven increments. Drag can be adjusted from the highest possible setting to nearly zero drag, allowing for the finest control through 360° pan and +90° to -90° tilt. For camcorders with lots of extras, the 501PLONG long plate will enable you to achieve a better balance of weight distribution of the camcorder on the 519 Pro Video Head.
519 Pro Video Head Key Features
Fluid Movement, 7-Step Adjustable Drag Control
Manfrotto's pan and tilt movement technology is based on a system of cartridges filled with a specific silicon fluid. This technology provides the smooth, constant movement needed to achieve shake-free images while panning and tilting during all types of video shooting sessions.
Manfrotto drag technology provides accurate camera control in all conditions. The continuous drag adjustment allows you to select the level of drag you need and to work the way you choose, rather than having to select from predetermined levels as with stepped drag systems. This solution enables you to set-up rapidly and repeatedly, helping you achieve perfect framing and control. Fluid drag is easily controlled with a large numbered knob in seven increments. Drag can be adjusted from the highest possible setting to nearly zero drag, allowing for the finest control through 360° pan and +90° to -90° tilt.

Manfrotto MBAG100PN 39.4-inch Padded Tripod Bag
Replacing the MBAG100P Tripod Bag, the Manfrotto MBAG100PN Padded Tripod Bag is identical in features and design to the MBAG120PN, but in a slightly smaller size. The MBAG100PN is padded to protect your equipment. Innovative design and style: ballistic nylon, zips and other materials used are of top quality and designed in collaboration with Kata Carrying Systems.
The redesigned MBags, available in six models of varying lengths, feature new padding with a thermoformed Manfrotto logo, a rubberized loop which makes it easier to open and close, and new attention to the details, making this range of bags iconic and user friendly. The innovation of these Manfrotto carrying solutions is all in the details, in the tech materials and in the improved ergonomics that make these products worthy partners of Manfrotto's proven professional tripods and heads.
MBAG100PN Padded Tripod Bag Key Features
End Opening Allows for Faster "Quiver" Style Extraction and Insertion of Tripod
Zip extends down the length of the bag, but also fully opens the top end of the bag, making it easier to get your tripod in and out, as well as being able to extract the tripod quickly. You can extract the tripod quickly from the end of the bag like an arrow from a quiver.
Comfortable Carrying Handle
Ergonomic Design
Asymmetric tapered shape allows you to store the tripod with the head attached. Tripod legs fit comfortably in the narrower end (7.87" diameter) and extra space is allowed for the larger volume of the head at the wider end (9" diameter). This also means it's easier to put the tripod and head in the bag, even if the head levers and knobs are fitted and jut out slightly.
Durable Materials, Padded End Cap
Thermoform padding holds the tripod in place and protects it, especially the head, during transport. Serves a double purpose by protecting you from the tripod's hard edges when carrying it by your side. Logo end cap is padded to offer protection to the tripod head. High quality durable materials, and padded ends protects your tripod throughout.
Inner Pocket
Inner pocket holds accessories (such as video head pan bars) where they won't rattle around or get damaged.
Easy-Grip Zip Opening
New rubberized Manfrotto loop helps when using the zips.
Versatile Carrying Options
Can be hand-carried horizontally by the side handle, vertically by the end handle, or shoulder-carried using the included strap. Side carrying handle is adjustable to better balance transportation of heavy heads mounted on the tripod. The end handle is also useful for storage, allowing you an easy way to remove the bag from a high shelf, for example.
