The
Manfrotto 190XV Tripod shares the same quality level as the standard 190XB
model, but comes with top leg sections finished in a dark green color, styled
for the outdoor enthusiast. The 190XV View Series Aluminum tripod is compact and
lightweight, similar in height to the carbon fiber 190MFV. This aluminum
equivalent provides the same outstanding performance at a slightly higher
overall weight, but at a lower price.
The
190X series of tripods has been redesigned to offer better ergonomics of the
leg-angle release mechanism and improved quick-action leg locks. While it can
reach a maximum working height of 57.5" (146 cm), it can also be used as low as
3.3" (8.5), by using the low angle adapter built in to the center column. Ideal
for outdoor use with cameras up to SLR size, with a medium pro zoom lens
attached. The 190XV tripod is also available as a kit, offered with either the
700C2 (as above) or the 701RC2 video heads.
