The
MN501HDV Pro Video Head replaces the current MN501, which has
been a huge success since it was first launched.
There
are a number of key improvements to the MN501HDV:

Smoother tilt movements
Greater security of equipment
Easy
to switch between different filming set-ups
Counterbalance with on – off function, switchable.
The
first thing you will notice about the redesigned 501HDV, apart from its new
sleeker look, are the improved ergonomics with locks and knobs that improve
control and the locking capability of the head.
Inside,
a fixed counterbalance spring has been added to ensure smoother tilt movements
and greater equipment safety when tilt locks are inadvertently left off. The
counterbalance can easily be switched on and off for different filming setups.
The
head weighs 1.6kg and will support a maximum of 6kg, so ideal for the latest
breed of HD camcorders.
