i.LINK interface
The integrated i.LINK interface allows you to transfer digital audio and video through a single-cable connection with virtually no loss in quality. This provides an easy and convenient way to make back-up tapes.
Signal conversion
Analogue input signals can be converted to digital and simultaneously output from the i.LINK connector.
Auto repeat
Use the DSR-11 to repeatedly rewind and replay a particular segment. At the end of the tape ? or at an index or blank point ? the auto repeat automatically returns to the beginning and plays it again.
Control at your fingertips
Operate the DSR-11 while moving about the room. The supplied wireless remote commander provides menu control for precise settings while LANC and Control S terminals allow you to connect the optional DSRM-20 for jog and shuttle.
NTSC/PAL compatibility
Play tapes recorded on both the PAL and NTSC systems on your DSR-11. You can record using either system too; simply slide a switch to select the incoming source.
i.LINK interface
Using the integrated 4-pin i.LINK interface you can duplicate entire tapes and transfer audio, video and command signals to a PC.
Time code write through i.LINK
The DSR-11 can copy timecode from a non-tape source. This is useful when video edited on a PC or other NLE system has new timecode.
Wireless remote commander supplied
The DSR-11 comes with a wireless remote commander, RMT-DS11, which provides menu control for precise settings. Most of the VCR?s functions can be controlled from the commander, making it ideal for use during presentations.
Standard and mini cassette compatibility.
The DSR-11 accommodates both standard and mini-size cassette tapes. On the standard DVCAM cassette you can record for up to 184 minutes; on the mini-cassette for 40 minutes.
DV format recording and playback.
With your DSR-11 you can record and play back DV-format tapes (SP mode only). DV format allows a longer recording time.
Unique design and small footprint.
Save space with the compact DSR-11. You can place it either horizontally or vertically for easy and unobtrusive integration into your work environment.
