The HVR-V1 is a compact
and lightweight professional HDV camcorder - sharing similar dimensions to the
popular DSR-PD170P
The HVR-V1 is the first
Sony professional to incorporate 3 ClearVid CMOS sensors. Coupled with Sony's
Enhanced Imaging Processor (EIP) these sensors provide high sensitivity, low
noise and a wide dynamic range to help achieve high-quality, smearless images.
In addition to offering
1080/50i acquisition, it also provides 25p shooting - making it ideal for
film-makers with smaller budgets and those who wish to create a more cinematic
look and feel to their production. Unlike 'progressive-look' pictures
interpolated from interlace scan camera systems, the HVR-V1's "3 ClearVid CMOS
Sensor" system natively captures progressive scan images while maintaining full
HDV resolution (1080). Moreover, footage shot using the progressive scan feature
can be played back on any Sony HDV professional camcorders and VTRs and can be
edited with major current non-linear editing systems, including Sony, Adobe,
Apple, Avid and Canopus.

The ME 66 is a short
gun microphone capsule designed for use with the K6 and K6P powering modules. It
is especially suitable for reporting, film and broadcast location applications
and for picking up quiet signals in noisy or acoustically live environments as
it discriminates against sound not emanating from the main pick-up direction.

The VZ-Rock features a unique variable speed
rocker control allows user to maintain the slowest crawl or gradually ramp up
speed and then decrease speed gradually all in one smooth motion! Because your
thumb never leaves the speed control you have quick response time and smooth
actions to zoom in, zoom out, zoom faster or zoom slower. Simply push to the
right to zoom in (telephoto) and push to left side to zoom out (wide). No
shaking the camera or time lost fumbling to find the right button to zoom in or
zoom out.
The ew 100-ENG G2 system is ideal
for video recording in the most varied recording situations. The ME 2 clip-on
microphone is virtually invisible. The extremely small SK 100 G2 bodypack
transmitter and the SKP 100 G2 plug-on transmitter as well as the EK 100 G2
camera receiver feature nine frequency banks with four directly accessible
presets each – ready for immediate use.
The new professional S-2010
camera light combines 4 advanced LEDs with SWIT optic technology design. The
S-2010 offers the equivalent of a 40w output at 5600k colour temperature with a
low power consumption of only 12w with low heat radiation. The S-2010 can last
in excess of 100,000 hours and requires no spare filament bulbs.
The CRC-13 and CRC-14 Compact Rain
Covers fit 35 mm cameras like the Digiflex, or medium format cameras with a
digital back installed. In addition the CRC-13 fits the Canon XM2/GL2, Sony
PDX-10, and similar camera models; the CRC-14 is tailored to fit the Sony PD170,
JVC DV300, Panasonic DVX100A and similar. They allow you to continue shooting in
harsh weather conditions: slip quickly over the camera and secure with the
adjusters and pull-cords. The closure along the bottom rim enables quick set-up
and seals tripod connection, while also providing a hand held option. The CRC-13
is the compact version while the CRC-14 is larger and fits longer lenses. These
camera rain covers fit other small DV camcorders as well
