Sony PHU-120K (PHU-120, PHU120K) Hard Disk Drive

The new Sony PHU-120K hard disk drive enhances the efficicency of the XDCAM EX even further with two improved 60GB in one 120GB hard disk unit. The partition drives are capable of recording approximately 520 minutes of HD video.
The PHU-120K challenges the limits of XDCAM EX productivity with high capacity storage, stable data transfer and outstanding reliability.

The portable PHU-120K HDD is robust, including intergrates shock resistance and in built gravity sensor.

Using the same BP-U30 and BP-U60 batteries that are used on the EX1 and EX3 camcorders the PHU-120K will run for up to 10 hours on a single BP-U30.

The PHU-120K is perfect for field use with USB-2 interface providing instant PC /Apple connectivity.

Designed for XDCAM EX users

The PHU-120K has been designed to enhance the workflow opportunities for XDCAM EX users. Using the now well established Express Card™ technology and a USB2.0 interface, our new hard disk benefits from an optimized protocol for controlling communication with PMW-EX1(1) and PMW-EX3 series cameras. This results in very stable data transfer during long recordings.
