The Canon EF-M 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens is a standard zoom lens thats exclusively designed for EOS M Digital Camera. The focal length is equivalent to approx. 28-90 mm in 35 mm format. This makes it ideal as a basic everyday lens.

This lens features Canons optical Image Stabilizer technology, which provides up to four stop compensation for image blur caused by camera shake and slow shutter speeds. This ensures clear, crisp images, even in dim light.

Designed specifically for digital photography, the lens has a seven blade, circular aperture. This promotes beautiful, soft backgrounds. The lens also features Dynamic IS for movie shooting mode, as well as continuous AF for video shooting. There are three aspheric lens elements reduce aberration throughout the zoom range. Plus, optimized lens placement and coating minimize ghosting and flare.
