Rode smartLav Package A © includes:    Rode SmartLav Plus (Rode SmartLav +)  Digibroadcast 1m 3.5mm 4 Pole TRRS male to female audio headset extension AV cable (3.5TRRSAVCABLE) The smartLav is a professional-grade wearable microphone designed for use in a wide range of film, television and broadcast scenarios, or wherever professional quality audio is required in a discreet, portable format without the complication and expense of additional wireless equipment. With the smartLav the user simply mounts the microphone on the talent, connects it to a smartphone or tablet headset jack and records via the RØDE Rec app for iOS, or any other audio app of their choice. By employing a high quality omni-directional condenser capsule the smartLav picks up sound equally from all around the microphone, allowing for versatility when mounting and ensuring a high degree of user-friendly operation. A foam pop shield is supplied to minimise wind noise and vocal plosives (hard ‘b’, ‘t’ and ‘p’ sounds), as well as a durable mounting clip with in-built cable management. The smartLav is compatible with any audio app that accepts input from the headset connection, however it has been designed to pair perfectly with RØDE’s RØDE Rec app for Apple iOS devices. RØDE Rec turns the user’s iOS device into a fully-featured field recorder, with a wide range of equalisation presets to suit various recording situations, in addition to professional editing functions and the ability to publish to SoundCloud and Dropbox direct from the app.   1m 3.5mm 4 Pole TRRS male to female audio headset extension AV cable   Extend the connection distance between your iPhone, mobile phone or computer headset by 1 meter Our 4-Pole 3.5mm headset extension cable (1m) features a 3.5mm (1/8" TRRS) audio connector on one end and a 3.5mm (1/8" TRRS) audio connector on the other. It makes easy to extend the reach between your hands-free headset or headphones, and your iPhone, mobile phone or a laptop computer. To ensure long-lasting performance, this high quality 3.5mm audio extension cable features molded PVC strain relief at each of the 1/8" TRRS connectors, which prevents the cable termination points from bending at sharp angles, which  reduce the risk of cable damage.   Important: To ensure proper hardware detection, we recommend that the external headset is plugged into the adapter first, before the adapter is connected to the computer or mobile device. Also, in some circumstances, when an extension cable is used with an in-line remote control equipped headset, the remote control functions may not operate properly.   This is due to the sensitivity of the remote control circuitry and does not indicate any defect in the cable. *Digibroadcast has put together some bespoke Rode packages for our clients based on our own research and surveys and holds the right to protect all of its content ©
