Sony SV-GS96B 960GB Solid State Drive with up to 500MB Transfer Speeds

Sony SV-GS96B (SV_GS96B, SV/GS96B, SV GS96B) 960GB Solid State Drive with up to 500MB Transfer Speeds Highly durable, long-lifetime SSD for 4K and HD professional video recordings G series Professional Solid State Drive (SSD) provides reliable, high-speed, high capacity memory able to handle the high bitrates of 4K recordings for video recording devices on even the most demanding productions. The SV-GS96 provides 960GB. The professional SSD utilizes Sony’s unique advanced error correction technology to radically extend the life-time of the unit, up to 2400TBW (Terabytes Written). This means the 960GB model can be used for 10 years even if it is fully written with data five times a week. The unit is further protected by Sony’s original data protection technology to ensure less data loss even if there is a sudden power loss while shooting. The professional SSD also has a durable connector for additional security in harsh conditions. Highly durable, long-lifetime professional SSD, reduces Total Cost of Ownership Sony’s unique, advanced ECC (Error Correction Code) technology increases total Terabytes Written (TBW), which leads to a longer lifetime. Up to a total 2400TB of data can be written before the SSD reaches its limitation of write cycles. This means the 960GB model can be used for 10 years even if it is fully written with data five times a week. This longer lifetime contributes to extended replacement cycles of SSD and reduces TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Stable, ultra-fast data writing speed ideal for higher bit rate 4K video recordings Sony’s intelligent Garbage Collection function ensures stable recordings of high bit rate 4K video without frame dropping. High reliability with data protection technology to protect against sudden power failure Sony’s original data protection technology protects data even if a sudden power failure occurs while shooting. It ensures that data is less damaged or lost if there is a sudden power shutoff while writing data onto the SSD. Durable connector for professional use A durable connector protects against harsh shooting conditions. G series Professional SSD has a durable connector that has passed the severe test of repeat insertion/removal 3000 times*, compared to six times for SATA standard. This gives professionals additional security when working in harsh conditions. Based on Sony internal testing. Actual performance may vary. Based on environmental conditions and usage. 960GB and 480GB SSD options The SV-GS96 provides 960GB capacity and the SV-GS48 provides 480GB.
