They may be stacked to achieve limitless variation of light intensity. The outer edges are color keyed for rapid identification. Green: single, Green with silver: half single, Red: double, and Red with silver: half double. Halves are employed to reduce a portion of the beam and are commonly used when the light is striking the plane of the subject or background for an angle.

Matthews - Lazy Suzy - 415152 The Matthews Lazy Suzy (mitchell based) provides the cinematographer/ videographer with more creative opportunities through the use of an articulated double-swivel platform. This heavy-duty camera positioning device allows you to place the camera anywhere within a 25” diameter circle without having to reposition the dolly, tripod, or car mount rig. The camera can be secured firmly for traveling shots, process trailers, or lock-off shots with the series of strategically placed ¼” and 3/8” tapped holes. The Lazy Suzy will support camera packages up to 70lbs (30kg). Additional accessories and adapters are available, making the mounting possibilities limitless. Each unit is made with 6161 T-6 black hard anodized aluminum. All steel parts are type 304 stainless steel. Bushings are made from black Acetal. All bolts, nuts, and washers are grade 18-8 stainless steel. The adjustment keys are made from steel with black power coat finish. Lazy Suzy is weather proof from minus 40f to plus 180f or minus 40c to 80c. Lubricant is never necessary. Mild soap and water is all that is needed for cleaning. Disclaimer – Like all such devices, common sense and judgment must be used. The Lazy must be properly locked down when used on moving vehicles. Triangulating the system on moving vehicles is highly recommended to ensure safety of those around as well as for camera stability. Both top and bottom plates have strategically placed ¼” and 3/8” tapped holes for triangulation.

The cup features a simple-to-use integrated pump system which creates an air-tight seal between the suction cup and the chosen surface. Simply press the pin inwards to create the vacuum seal and when the red-line disappears - you're ready to go! The top of the cup has been fitted with a common 3/6"-16 threaded stud to accommodate most standard tripod and monopod heads, giving the user a wide range of choices when it comes to camera movement and positioning. When using this suction cup on a horizontal surface Matthews recommends a load capacity of no greater than 20 lb, however, when used on a vertical surface weight capacity varies based on the size and weight of the equipment being used. All users are recommended to test the stability of the suction cup on a given surface before mounting heavy equipment.
