ZEISS CP.3 XD 5-Lens Set: Precision and Innovation for Modern Cinematography The ZEISS CP.3 XD 5-Lens Set is an unparalleled choice for filmmakers, combining precision optics with cutting-edge technology. Featuring five essential focal lengths—15mm T2.9, 25mm T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, and 85mm T2.1—this set delivers exceptional versatility, from sweeping wide angles to intimate telephoto shots, making it the perfect companion for a wide range of cinematic scenarios. Key Features Advanced Optics Each lens is crafted with ZEISS's renowned T* coating for consistent color matching, reduced flare, and increased contrast. The improved coatings make this set ideal for HDR-format productions, capturing vibrant details with clarity and accuracy. eXtended Data (XD) Technology XD technology integrates Cooke's /i protocol with ZEISS-specific datasets, enabling real-time metadata transmission. Essential data, such as focal length, focus position, and depth-of-field, can be seamlessly integrated into workflows for enhanced precision in focus pulling, VFX, and post-production. Supports distortion and shading correction in software like DaVinci Resolve and Pomfort, reducing pre-production and post-production time. Consistent Physical Design All lenses share the same 95mm front diameter, length, and gear positions for focus and iris. This simplifies the use of matte boxes, follow focuses, and motorized systems across the set. Constructed with a new ergonomic barrel design, inspired by ZEISS Ultra Prime lenses, ensuring better handling, balance, and compactness. User-Friendly Interchangeable Mounts Comes with PL mounts installed, but these can be swapped with other mount types (available separately), offering flexibility for diverse camera systems. A 14-bladed iris ensures round bokeh even when stopped down, adding a cinematic quality to out-of-focus elements. Durable Build Engineered to endure the demands of professional filmmaking environments, the CP.3 XD lenses promise reliability without compromising portability. Signature ZEISS Look The CP.3 XD lenses deliver the crisp and clean imagery that ZEISS is known for. Their ability to produce sharp, true-to-life visuals makes them a trusted choice for cinematographers aiming for excellence. Why Choose the ZEISS CP.3 XD Set?
