SUPPORTS SXS PRO X CARDS AT FULL SPEED SUPERIOR INGEST PERFORMANCE Co-developed by Sony®, SxS™ professional memory cards are the onboard recording media used in many past and current Sony and ARRI pro digital video cameras and camcorders. The latest generation cards—SxS PRO X—offer a nearly 3x increase in maximum read speeds of the previous generation. If you use SxS media in your workflow, you should use an SxS card reader capable of supporting SxS PRO X and every other SxS memory card at maximum speed. For the fastest ingests, get a Sonnet SxS PRO X Thunderbolt™ 3 Single-Slot Card Reader; it’s the best tool for the job.   SMALL AND ULTRA-FAST INGEST AT MAXIMUM READ SPEEDS The SxS PRO X Thunderbolt 3 Single-Slot Card Reader is small, ultra-fast, and easily reads all SxS memory cards at their rated speeds(1).   THE PERFECT TRAVEL COMPANION BUS-POWERED OPERATION When you need to travel light and don’t have a large stack of cards to ingest, extra power bricks and cables take up extra space and can weigh you down. Sonnet’s SxS PRO X Thunderbolt 3 Single-Slot Card Reader is bus-powered, operating off its Thunderbolt connection so there’s no need to plug in a power supply or power cable.   SUPPORTS ALL SXS MEDIA BROAD CARD SUPPORT The SxS PRO X Card Reader supports all generations of SxS media up to the latest PRO X cards. Additionally, this reader(2) supports XQD cards with the Sony ExpressCard Adapter for XQD Memory Card (QDA-EX1) or SD cards with Sonnet's SDHC Adapter for SxS Slot (SD-SXS-E34).   COMPACT, RUGGED AND PORTABLE THE SINGLE-SLOT SXS CARD READER FOR DIGITAL IMAGING TECHNICIANS (DITS) Equipment size and design features matter. Sonnet’s SxS PRO X Thunderbolt 3 Single-Slot Card Reader measures just 2.8 inches wide by 4.1 inches deep by 0.8 inches tall (about the size of a deck of playing cards), making it suitable for use in any workspace and workflow. Featuring a rugged aluminium enclosure, the Sonnet reader packs easily into a computer bag or backpack. Its single-port Thunderbolt interface and bus-powered operation make it perfect for use at the end of a daisy chain (such as multiple Sonnet SF3™ Series dual-slot pro card readers).   THUNDERBOLT 3 FASTEST EXTERNAL INTERFACE AVAILABLE Featuring a 40Gbps Thunderbolt™ 3 interface, this reader ingests footage from all SxS memory cards to any Mac® or Windows® computer with Thunderbolt 3 ports—on location, in the studio, or in the edit suite—at the fastest speeds the cards will support.   ALL THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS INCLUDED AT NO EXTRA CHARGE – THUNDERBOLT 3 CABLE. THUNDERLOK 3. Sonnet includes a 0.5-meter Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps) cable that supports Thunderbolt 3’s full bandwidth. Sonnet also provides a ThunderLok 3 Thunderbolt connector retainer clip(3) that prevents accidental cable disconnections—just slide it over one end of the cable, and then plug in the connector and secure it to the reader by turning a thumbscrew. Because of its unique design, ThunderLok remains on the cable so it won’t get lost when not in use.
