AG-CX18EJ Compact 4K 10bit 60p camcorder with IP connectivity (AG-CX18EJ) The AG-CX20 and AG-CX18 models camcorders feature state-of-the-art optical technology, in addition to a lightweight and compact chassis design that delivers increased mobility, and high-quality video production. Wide angle zoom lens for precise shooting The camcorders offer superior optical performance thanks to a powerful integrated 25mm (35mm camera equivalent.) wide angle to 600mm (AG-CX20 only.) telephoto zoom lens, with 24x optical zoom. They feature a 4-Drive Lens System that operates each lens group independently, in addition to two manual focus rings. All four cameras feature both Optical and Electric Image Stabilisation to detect and correct any unwanted camera shake through five axes, including rotational blurring. This is especially useful when shooting subjects from very high and low angles. All models provide superior focusing speed, stability, and tracking performance when shooting in both 4K and FHD, thanks to the Face Detection AF/AE feature that provides precise focusing and exposure for subjects. IP-based video for seamless streaming The high-end CX20 model will support full-HD live streaming through the next-generation, IP-based SRT protocol (To be added by firmware update.), with the CX20 and CX18 delivering simultaneous SDI/HDMI outputs. Panasonic’s CX20 also supports NDI®* HX2 IP connectivity for high-quality, low-latency live streaming in a network environment, without the need for external converters. Both the CX20 and CX18 support Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) (Supported protocols: RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS.), allowing content to be streamed live directly to social media platforms and video sharing sites, such as YouTube. Listening to the needs of the industry Panasonic’s intimate knowledge of what directors and cinematographers require from high-performance camcorders when shooting on location have been reflected within the improvements made to all four models, further increasing usability and functionality. Compact design for superior mobility The unique design of all four models enables heat to be dispersed from the front panel thanks to a slimline fan. This increases reliability and enables the body to be as small as possible. The CX20 and CX18 include Panasonic’s VW-HU1 handle unit, featuring a two-channel XLR audio input and control, and bright, adjustable LED light for shooting in low light conditions. Users can also easily operate lens zoom from the handle unit. All four camcorders support multiple bit rates and formats for a variety of requirements. When configured for 10 bit recording with an HDMI output, all models deliver 4K 60p 4:2:2 output with an external recorder. All camcorders support the MOV, MP4 and AVCHD formats, whilst the CX20 supports the P2 MXF workflow.

Panasonic PAN-PLC-PPU-K (PAN/PLC-PPU-K, PAN/PLC/PPU/K, PANPLCPPUK, PAN PLC PPU K) PanaPod Unit - Black The Panapod is an elevation unit specifically designed for Panasonic PTZ cameras. The elevation unit can be used as a standalone system on a stage, in a studio, behind a goal, in a conference venue, or in a press conference, to provide an unobtrusive camera position that is great for the spectators whilst not interfering with the artists, players’ action, presenters or the sequence being shot. The elevation of the Panapod can easily be controlled from Panasonic RP remote panels by using the joystick, in a fully integrated operation over the network. Elevation values can be stored as presets to be recalled any time later. Alternatively, the Panapod can be controlled from a pair of foot pedals or from a desktop controller, so that the operator can choose the most comfortable method of operation in every situation. The Panapod does not require any PC or dedicated software. Two elevation units can be combined for a total maximum height of 3 meters, allowing the camera to be in the far end of the room, clearly above the heads of the audience. Panapod is packed in just one flightcase with protective foam inserts, enabling great visibility and easy access of components for fast build and breakdown. The case also includes space for a second elevation unit. The Panapod can be installed in a matter of minutes, including the PTZ camera, which is mounted with a quick-release plate. Additionally, Panapod can be mounted on wheels for maximum mobility. Thanks to its heavy payload, the Panapod can be used to elevate more than just a PTZ camera. While a single unit supports up to 35 kg, a double unit can support up to 25 kg. With the optional T-bar, up to three additional cameras can be mounted in the same unit, simplifying the cabling and the setup. The T-Bar option is ideal for multicamera shooting, when the space is limited, and it can be used with one-leg or two-leg systems. Camera mounts can also be set upside down. Moreover, the T-Bar can be stored in the same flight case as the Panapod. The Panapod is selectable in black or white colour to match the same colour as the Panasonic PTZ cameras. Occasionally, and thanks to its payload, Panapod can be used to elevate devices other than PTZ cameras, such as studio cameras, pan/tilt mechanism, speakers or flat displays.

The device can control up to four PTZ cameras, and camera switching, pan, tilt and zoom can all be performed with button operations. It features a preset function that allows the registration of up to 12 shooting positions. Registered memories can then be recalled with a single press of a preset memory button.
