The DPA d:facto Linear Vocal Microphone is designed and engineered to give audio engineers the utmost control over their desired vocal sound. It does so by providing incredible audio detail and an industry beating linear frequency response, delivering more substance with which you can tailor the exact sound unique to each performer.
The d:facto Linear features a permanent third order high pass filter at 80Hz, a dynamic range of 120dB and can handle max SPL of 160dB. As with the whole DPA d:facto range, it can be paired with any professional wireless handle on the market using the adapters.
The d:facto Linear Vocal mic will capture electrifying performances, replicating the singer's voice transparently, consistently and thrillingly.
Unlike the regular d:facto Vocal mic which has a high end boost built in for vocal accentuation, the d:facto Linear capsule offers the same clarity and detail, but with a linear frequency response. This linearity means this superb vocal condenser mic is optimised for use in both sound reinforcement and studio recording applications, with its high quality studio capsule hidden under a clever three-layer pop protection grid that both protects the capsule from shock and removes unwanted noises.
Its robust handle, capsule and grid assembly features effective shock dissipation, preventing nearly all handling vibrations from reaching the capsule and if you decide to go wireless you can simply uncouple the capsule and grid assembly from the handle and attach it to any professional wireless handle of your choice using one of the ingenious DPA d:facto Adapters.
