The Canon 3051B001 Car Battery Charger can charge an LP-E5 battery pack from a 12v DC Car Power port, and is particularly useful when traveling or when using your camera on location. When in use, the charger performs battery capacity calibration so that the remaining battery level can be indicated accurately when used in the EOS series digital cameras.
