Its 7" touchscreen simplifies configuration, camera settings, and live viewing, allowing up to nine cameras to be viewed simultaneously on-screen.

This controller uses Canon's proprietary XC IP protocol for secure network control via LAN, and a second RJ45 port allows RS-422 serial protocol control. The RC-IP1000 supports up to 4K60 video input/output through 12G-SDI ports and HDMI output for seamless integration with switchers or additional displays. Tally support is also included to relay tally light information between cameras and the controller.

The unit features various accessible controls, such as buttons, dials, LEDs, a joystick, and a zoom rocker, ensuring swift access to settings. It can be powered by an adapter or via PoE+ for power, control, and data over a single cable.
