Its ultra-wide 4.3mm focal length captures stunning wide-angle shots, ideal for scenes like car interiors. The focal length extends up to 52mm (or 104mm with the built-in 2x extender) for versatile shooting options. Current HD lens users will find seamless integration with 2/3” 4K broadcast cameras, delivering outstanding performance across a variety of ENG and studio environments.

Breathtaking Optical Performance
Canon’s advanced optical design ensures uniform 4K resolution and high contrast from the center to the edges of the image. This lens maintains consistent resolution and contrast across the focus and zoom ranges, supporting both HDTV and 4K frequencies. Built-in features minimize color bleeding, ghosting, and flare, producing vibrant image quality throughout.

Lightweight, Compact, and Portable
Despite its high 4K resolution, the CJ12ex4.3B retains a similar size and weight to comparable HD lenses, allowing for familiar handling and shooting styles. Weighing just 2.1kg with a 248mm total length, this lens is comfortable for shoulder-mounted use. Canon’s ergonomic drive unit further reduces fatigue, making it ideal for extended shooting.

Smart, Reliable, and Interoperable
With an intuitive design, the CJ12ex4.3B delivers 4K quality throughout the zoom range, maintaining a 0.5-second zoom speed, consistent with HD lenses. Users won’t need to alter shooting techniques, and existing Canon HD lens accessories remain fully compatible, preserving ease of use.

Proven 16-bit Encoding
Equipped with Canon’s reliable 16-bit encoder, the CJ12ex4.3B offers immediate start-up without the need for initialization, allowing for quick deployment with aberration correction. The 16-bit encoder provides detailed positional data on zoom, focus, and iris, enabling precise alignment of virtual and live-action images. Three 20-pin connectors support virtual operations in full servo mode, enhancing versatility when integrated with virtual systems.
