The Angenieux EZ-1 30-90mm Cinema Lens Pack includes the PL mount version of the 30-90mm EZ-1 zoom lens, along with interchangeable Super35 and FF/VistaVision rear lens groups. With a fast T2.0 aperture for Super35 and T3.0 for full-frame/VistaVision, this lens adapts to different formats without changing its physical length, minimum focus distance, or 3x zoom ratio. Switching to the full-frame rear group extends the coverage, transforming the lens from a 30-90mm zoom for Super35 to a 45-135mm zoom for full-frame/VistaVision.

The lens is equipped with three manual control rings for focus, iris, and zoom, each featuring cine-style 0.8 MOD gear teeth, ensuring compatibility with follow focus units and lens control motors. The 114mm front diameter is compatible with a wide range of rod-supported matte boxes, adding versatility to various production setups.

Angenieux EZ-1 30-90mm S35 Cinema Lens with PL Mount

The Angenieux EZ-1 30-90mm S35 Cinema Lens with PL Mount is a high-speed zoom designed for 3-perf Super 35mm sensors. This model includes a PL mount and a Super 35 rear optical assembly, with options to swap the mount to Sony E or Canon EF. With a bright T2.0 aperture and a close focus of 2 feet, this lens is lightweight at just 4.7 pounds. Its 114mm front diameter is compatible with standard cinema-style matte boxes. The lens also features separate control rings for focus, iris, and zoom, all equipped with industry-standard gear teeth. Additionally, a repositionable support foot allows for easy rotation off standard mounting orientations.

Interchangeable Lens Mounts

The lens ships with a PL mount but can be easily swapped to E or EF mounts (available separately). Maintaining only a minimal 1/10 stop light loss, the EZ-1 delivers high efficiency. Its fast T2.0 aperture for Super 35mm matches the speed of many prime lenses, enabling you to use lower lighting levels and achieve consistent image quality without needing to relight when switching from primes to this zoom lens.

The EZ-1 Zoom Full-Frame Rear Lens Group converts the EZ-1 lens for full-frame or VistaVision cameras, extending its focal length from 30-90mm to 45-135mm. The aperture adjusts from T2.0 (f/1.9) to T3.0 (f/2.8) to accommodate the full-frame format.
