The OConnor Ultimate 1030D Fluid Head is a versatile, lightweight fluid head designed to accommodate a wide range of camera setups while maintaining consistent operation and control. Ideal for both lightweight and heavy ENG-style cameras, the 1030D fluid head offers stepless counterbalance, interchangeable camera platforms, and an impressive tilt range, making it suitable for diverse filming needs.

Key Features:

• Payload & Counterbalance: Supports up to 30 lbs at a 6" center of gravity (C.O.G.) above the platform. The counterbalance system is stepless and continuously variable, enabling precise balance adjustments for payloads from 39 lbs at a 4" C.O.G. down to lightweight setups.
• Camera Platform: Comes with a spring-loaded sideload platform and a sliding baseplate for quick mounting. The sideload platform allows straight-off mounting and additional forward-back adjustment for precise balancing.
• Tilt Range: Offers a 90° forward and back tilt range, supporting camera setups up to 30 lbs at 6" C.O.G., ideal for a variety of shooting angles.
• Pan & Tilt Controls: Independent drag and lock controls for both pan and tilt. The pan lock has been redesigned to match the other heads in the OConnor Ultimate line, allowing intuitive operation.
• Ball Leveling: Includes a 100mm ball base for fast leveling, even with heavy payloads. The ball base is removable, with options for a Mitchell base or 150mm ball base for added flexibility.
• Illuminated Bubble Level: Built-in bubble level illuminates for 25 seconds with a button press, aiding in low-light leveling. The battery is easily replaceable, and each unit is factory-tested.
• Accessory Mounting: Features standard front box mounting points for attaching accessories like a front box bracket. Additional rear mounting points allow for accessories like an eyepiece leveler bracket.
