Sonnar T* FE 35mm F2.8 ZA Wide-angle Prime (SEL35F28Z)

• Perfect for wide-angle shooting and close-ups, this bright 35mm prime lens from ZEISS delivers outstanding edge-to-edge image quality. A supplied dedicated hood matches the lens's compact form, while its dust and moisture resistant design gives you peace of mind when shooting outdoors.

Crafted by ZEISS

• Founded in 1846, ZEISS AG is a legend in the field of camera optics. Their lenses are renowned for exceptional clarity, brightness, resolution and contrast. This one features the acclaimed ZEISS T* coating, which subdues internal reflections to minimise flare and ghosting.

35mm Full Frame imaging

• This 35mm Full Frame prime lens is designed to work with the latest Full Frame E-mount cameras from Sony, delivering outstanding contrast and resolution right out to the edges of the image.

Advanced aspherical lens (AA lens) technology

• Aspherical lens technology maximises portability without sacrificing imaging power. The lens combines three aspherical elements with one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element to deliver high-precision shots and breathtaking rendering – without the bulky design usually associated with similar DSLR lenses.

Smooth defocusing

• Instead of a standard polygon-shaped lens aperture, this lens features a 7-blade circular aperture for more natural, rounded defocusing or ‘bokeh’.

Refined optical performance

• To optimise performance, aspherical lens elements maintain high contrast (even with the aperture wide open) and minimise distortion and flatness of the image plane.

Fast, agile focusing

• An internal focusing mechanism means the lens barrel doesn’t move, enabling a more compact design, faster autofocus response, and reduced minimum focusing distances.
