The Sony ECM-680S is an MS stereo* shotgun, electret condenser microphone designed for a wide range of field production and broadcast studio applications. It incorporates newly developed microphone capsules that offer excellent sensitivity, low inherent noise, and a flat, wide frequency response. The ECM-680S features switchable operation between monaural and stereo modes. In monaural mode, the microphone provides highly directional sound pickup, while stereo mode delivers natural, spatial sound, making it ideal for capturing a range of audio environments.

Compact and lightweight, the ECM-680S is compatible with Sony professional camcorders and can also be mounted on a boom pole for added versatility. The microphone comes with PrimeSupport, providing fast, hassle-free repairs and expert technical advice, giving you peace of mind.
