The Envoy CXiR is a multi-frequency UHF infra-red controlled true diversity receiver, specifically designed for ENG (Electronic News Gathering) applications. Audio's Envoy system is engineered to outperform rival systems with a feature set that surpasses any similar ENG product available.

The CXiR is the smallest true diversity receiver in the world, eliminating mechanical switching by utilizing an infra-red remote control. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with the latest digital cameras, including models like Sony SX, Philips LDK120, Panasonic, and Ikegami HLV77.

Once installed in a camera, LED indicators provide a clear view of the receiver's status, ensuring you never lose a crucial news story due to unexpected signal loss. The indicators allow you to monitor the signal strength and TX battery power at all times.

The CXiR offers 32 switchable UHF frequency channels, all configurable using the SwitchiR infra-red remote, giving you a greater chance of finding interference-free channels in any environment.

For added flexibility, the CXiR can also function as a stand-alone receiver using a six-pin Lemo™ adapter, making it compatible with cameras that don’t have a dedicated receiver slot.
