The BirdDog O4 is a professional-grade outdoor PTZ camera built to deliver reliable performance where conventional systems fall short. Its rugged die-cast, IP66-rated housing is engineered for extreme environments, operating flawlessly between –40 °C and +60 °C. A built-in heater prevents condensation, while hydrophobic, smudge-resistant lens coatings ensure clear optics without the need for wipers—guaranteeing uninterrupted operation in rain, dust, snow, or heat.

Built for image excellence, the O4 features a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor capable of capturing 4K60 with exceptional color accuracy, flexible gamma, exposure, and wide dynamic range controls. A 30× optical zoom (extendable to 60× in HD) enables precise long-range coverage, while a 500 m infrared laser combined with automatic B/W night mode ensures visibility even in complete darkness.

Installation is streamlined with a sealed undercarriage design that conceals all cabling, incorporating built-in strain relief and three weatherproof flanges. Power options include PoE++ for simplified single-cable setups or external DC input. Connectivity is versatile, offering 12G-SDI, HDMI, and SFP+ fiber to accommodate IP, hybrid, and baseband workflows. The advanced streaming architecture supports simultaneous Full NDI® and NDI® HX3, alongside dual streaming of NDI with SRT, RTMP, or RTSP for maximum workflow flexibility.

AI-powered autotracking provides customizable motion profiles—fast and responsive for sports or smooth and controlled for events and worship—delivering natural, human-like framing. Fully integrated into the BirdDog ecosystem, O4 works seamlessly with BirdUI, Central, Connect, and the BirdDog Keyboard (KBD), and is firmware-ready for NDI 6.2.
