Manfrotto MAN-MH496-BH Centre Ball Head

Manfrotto MAN-MH496-BH (MANMH496-BH, MAN MH496-BH, MH496-BH, MAN/MH496-BH) Centre Ball Head.

For all photographers looking for a portable yet powerful ball head, the 496 aluminium Centre ball head enables smooth and precise camera positioning. The 496 Centre ball head is ideal for anyone looking for a quick and reliable solution that helps frame shots precisely. This tripod head is made of highly resistant, lightweight aluminium, so it is both portable and strong enough to cope with an impressive payload capacity up to 10 kg/22.03lbs. It is the perfect solution for all kinds of mirrorless cameras with zoom lenses and even medium-format DSLRs, ensuring steadiness and safety. This advanced ball head combines practicality with high performance and features three independent controls that give it the versatility to suit any environment: a main ergonomic knob manages the sphere lock, an integrated friction control knob adjusts the ball tension so that equipment weight is always perfectly balanced and shots framed effortlessly; an independent panoramic knob keeps the horizon flat and moves the camera horizontally, enabling astonishing landscape shots. Framing on the new 496 is easier and opens limitless options, so you can pursue any angle your mind can think of.

The 496 Centre ball head mounts a unique plate that makes it fully compatible with the world’s most widespread standard camera plates: Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-swiss style. With this aluminium plate fixed to the camera, all Manfrotto heads and almost all tripod heads on the market featuring Arca-swiss type attachments can be set up rapidly and effortlessly, with no need for disassembly components.

The 496 Centre ball head’s design makes it extremely easy to set up and lock your camera in any configuration.
