JVC's SR-HD1500 is a professional blu-ray disc recorder allowing you to copy videos to blu-ray  disc from a high-definition camcorder from the HDD, or down convert the videos and record them onto DVD. An internal HDD also enables easy editing and dubbing of multiple discs.

The SR-HD1500 supports recordings of MOV files in SP (19/25Mbps) mode made using the GY-HM100/700 ProHD camcorders, allowing them to be transferred to the HDD and dubbed discs.

The HD1500 also supports multiple file formats such as AVCHD, HDV, DV and those of JVC’s Everio camcorders; digital dubbing can be performed. A digital interface enhances camcorder compatibility with USB, SDHC slots and i.LINK input terminals for convenient connection to camcorders.



Compatible with dual-layer 50GB blu-ray discs which can store up to 24-hours of full high definition images on a single disc as well as inexpensive LTH discs the SR-HD1500 also supports BDMV format, allowing you to create blu-ray discs with menus. The HD1500 also enables you to use original images to create unique backgrounds.



Authoring menu enables discs to be created and used for professional applications. This includes discs that repeat playback automatically or demonstration discs. An RS-232C terminal also enables external control.
