2nd-Generation Native Vertical Shooting

DJI RS 4 features a newly engineered horizontal plate that enables second-generation native vertical shooting. You can switch to vertical mode quickly and effortlessly—simply release the horizontal plate and secure it in the vertical position. No additional accessories are required, making vertical content creation faster and more intuitive than ever.

2nd-Generation Automated Axis Locks

The upgraded automated axis locks allow the RS 4 to power on, lock, or enter sleep mode within seconds, greatly improving shooting efficiency, transitions, and storage. The new locking design features tighter tolerances, reducing gimbal movement when locked.

Our Smoothest Balancing System Yet

All three axes now feature a Teflon-coated surface for significantly reduced friction and smoother balancing.
When changing cameras or lenses, the tilt-axis fine-tuning knob allows precise forward/backward adjustments with millimeter-level accuracy.

The redesigned upper quick-release plate includes an adjustable positioning guide, ensuring more secure and consistent camera mounting.

Automatic Screen Lock

The OLED touchscreen now includes an auto-lock mode. When locked, the display dims and shows only essential gimbal and joystick information. This prevents accidental touches and helps conserve battery during long shoots.

Excellent Payload Capacity

Despite its compact body, DJI RS 4 supports a substantial 3 kg (6.6 lbs) payload, handling most popular mirrorless camera and lens combinations with ease.
The tilt axis has been extended by 8.5 mm, offering more room for balancing setups that include ND filters or additional accessories—expanding creative possibilities.

4th-Generation RS Stabilization Algorithm

DJI has refined its RS stabilization algorithm for better performance across a variety of shooting scenarios. The new algorithm strikes the perfect balance between stabilization strength and natural camera movement, providing smoother, more responsive operation.
Stability during vertical shooting has also been significantly enhanced, making it easier to capture dynamic running shots, low-angle movements, and more.

Bluetooth Wireless Control

With Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 4 can wirelessly control camera shutter functions and lens zoom. In zoom-control mode, the joystick can operate Power Zoom (PZ) lenses and Clear Image Zoom, offering an intuitive native zooming experience. Cameras pair once and reconnect automatically for seamless operation.

Support for DJI Focus Pro Motor

When paired with the DJI Focus Pro Motor, the RS 4 allows precise lens focus control via the side dial or zoom control using the joystick. This greatly improves lens-control efficiency during fast-paced shoots.

Customizable Trigger Function

The trigger can be customized to FPV mode, where holding the trigger makes all three axes follow the movement of the gimbal. This is ideal for rotational shots or creating immersive POV-style footage.

Gimbal Mode Switch

A dedicated mode switch allows instant toggling between PF, PTF, and FPV modes. FPV mode can also be customized to 3D Roll 360 or other configurations based on the creative requirements—ensuring the RS 4 is always ready for precision shooting.
