Manfrotto 509HD (509-HD, 509/HD, 509 HD, 509_HD) 509HD Professional Video Head

Complete control, intuitive functionality and conveniently compatible. The Pro Video Head is the ultimate tripod video head for professionals looking to get perfect results without the hassle, each and every time. It’s made for the most up-to-date high-definition HDSLR cameras and the latest camcorders, with plenty of innovative design touches for easy, precise handling regardless of the terrain, shooting style, or equipment.

Top features of this photo head include an innovative fluid drag system. The variable fluid mechanism is powered by fluid cartridges on both pan and tilt axis, enabling totally smooth movements, even when under pressure. This advanced tripod video head also has clever ball bearings to stop any unwanted vibration on the axis, giving you superior control and great camera support at all times. And a must-have counterbalance setting allows you to match the photo head to the weight of your equipment as needed.

When you need to set up, you can do so quickly and without fuss, thanks to an essential sliding plate. It can support a counterbalance weight of up to 4kg, making it an ideal piece of kit for a range of cameras and camcorders. Its maximum payload is an impressive 7kg thanks to its lightweight and durable aluminium body. And it’s a perfect companion for any photo tripod, including bridging heads and Sympla Plates due to its universal 9.5mm female thread. Not only that, this clever tripod video head has an easy link connector, so you can attach accessories like an external monitor, or lights in a jiffy.
