CamRade rainCover Handheld(CAM-RAINCVR-HANDHELD) 2709.0503

Protect the Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Canon handheld video camera against inclement weather with the rainCover Handheld. With this universal rain cover for handheld video cameras, you can now protect your equipment from the elements without sacrificing your shot.

Through years of experience and working closely with multiple camera operators, we have improved the designs to perfect solutions for multiple applications. The rainCover Handheld is suitable for handheld camera work but is also great while your camera is attached on a tripod, pedestal, or any other camera support solution.

Durable and functional design

Always carry the camRade rainCover Handheld with you so you do not get caught out when the weather turns. The cover is supplied in a waterproof zippered pouch, which you can use to store and transport the cover. It is easy to attach and detach the cover, thanks to the convenient design. Leave the bottom open for easy access or close it with the double straps if the wind plays tricks. The blue sliding rail makes it possible to bring the buckles to the desired position when the camera is mounted on a tripod.

Clamps around the lens hood

Thanks to its 48 cm (18.9”) rubber strip, the rainCover fits correctly to fixed lenses and lens hoods. The strap supplied with a hook-and-loop fastener makes it possible to tighten the cover on the lens hood but still lets you operate the lens, due to its spacious design. With several zippered and hook-and-loop openings you can easily access all essential parts of the camera. From openings for MI shoe connectors, wireless antennas, microphone and viewfinder, to a transparent window on the side for the LCD monitor, this rain cover has it all. The transparent back of the cover easily opens to change the camera’s battery or quickly access cables.

Why camRade?

camRade was established in 1998 and has an extensive track record of protecting broadcast and film cameras. Since the start of camRade, the team of people behind the brand have continued to work closely with several audio and camera operators, broadcasters, and rental companies. Today we can say that we are the consolidated world leader in camera protection.

Why do I need a camRade rainCover?

Imagine how you would feel if your camera stopped working. A camera with water damage could be considered a total loss if the repair costs are too high. What if you could have prevented this by using a camRade rainCover? Your camera is often your most valuable piece of equipment while gathering news or during field productions. The durability and unique features of the rainCover Handheld will protect your investment in a way that plastic bags and other cheap covers cannot.
