This Sennheiser SL Bodypack - ME 2 KIT DW-4 combines a compact and robust Speechline SL Bodypack DW digital wireless transmitter with a black, ME 2 omnidirectional clip-on lavalier microphone for clear and intelligible speech and lecture applications. A BA 30 rechargeable battery pack is also included.

The SpeechLine Digital Wireless SL Bodypack DW-4-US from Sennheiser is an SL Series wireless transmitter optimized for speech. It can be used when paired with an optional wireless receiver and microphone in applications for meetings, lectures, conferences presentations where every word matters. In addition, it is compatible with all Sennheiser microphones such as the SL Headmic 1 or MKE 1 (sold separately).

Featuring bi-directional communication between transmitter and receiver, the automatic frequency and interference management allows for convenient and reliable operation, which means the SL bodypack requires no settings to be adjusted. The LC display provides the link name, battery status and reception quality, and the easy-to-access mute-slider makes the use of the microphone very convenient.

Furthermore, the SL bodypack comes with a rechargeable BA 30 accupack that is built with external charging contacts – for easy charging with the CHG 2 and a USB socket. It provides up to 15 hours of operating time on a full charge. Finally, Sennheiser Control Cockpit software (download) offers easy handling, control, and maintenance for the SpeechLine Digital Wireless System. It provides a global overview of all network-enabled devices, shows all status information, and makes setting adjustments very easy.

Sennheiser ME 2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Locking 3.5mm Connector (Black)

The black Sennheiser ME 2 is a miniature professional lavalier microphone featuring a locking 3.5mm connector for Sennheiser transmitters and engineered for reliable, interference-resistant performance with wireless systems—making it a popular choice for presentations, interviews, broadcast work, and film/video applications.

With a speech-focused frequency response from 50 Hz to 18 kHz, the ME 2 filters out muddying lows and extreme highs to provide clear, intelligible results for instructors, journalists, and presenters in need of a solid workhorse lavalier they can depend on. The mic handles SPL levels up to 130 dB without distorting, while the omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from 360° around the capsule, helping to deliver consistent levels, even when the talent turns away from the capsule.

The ME 2 features a durable 5.2’ cable that provides ample room for movement and terminates in a locking 3.5mm connector wired for Sennheiser wireless transmitters. The electret condenser capsule requires 7.5V of power from your wireless transmitter, portable audio recorder, or similar compatible device. An integrated windscreen helps to reduce wind noise, and a lapel clip is included.
