Transform Your Windows Laptop or Small Form Factor Computer Into a Near-desktop Graphics Workstation
Are you a video pro? Many of the applications you use — whether to edit, render, colour grade, animate, or create special effects — require the processing power of desktop or workstation graphics (GPU) cards to efficiently and quickly handle the demanding data processing needs. Because many popular laptops come with either integrated graphics or low-power discrete GPUs, their performance can be severely limited for these tasks. The good news? There’s an easy solution for boosting your productivity — just add a Sonnet Breakaway Box 850 T5 Thunderbolt 5 eGPU to connect your high-performance GPU card to your computer through a single Thunderbolt 5 cable and significantly enhance its graphics performance.

Local AI for Faster Procesing and Enhanced Privacy
So, you’ve purchased a laptop or SFF computer loaded with RAM; a super-fast, high-capacity SSD; and a high-end CPU, but you’re not sure what it can do using the onboard graphics processor. For AI related tasks, maybe not as much as want it to do. But, when you connect Breakaway Box 850 T5 and install one of the latest GPU cards, you can run local AI apps faster to perform the tasks you need without paying for a subscription or per transaction fees.

LLM Libraries:
• Run Large Language Model (LLM) apps such as LM Studio Ollama, and GPT4ALL without needing to be online, and keep your data local.

Graphics:
• Edit and generate images with applications like Stable Diffusion and Flux.1.

Audio:
• You can also auto-generate text to speech, reduce noise, repair distorted audio, and even generate music using applications such as VoiceCraft, Krisp, and Ace-Step.

Graphic-Intensive Gaming
You don’t need to drag around a gaming laptop to enjoy high-performance gaming. Just connect Breakaway Box 850 T5 with your graphics card installed to instantly add the GPU power you need, when you need it. This solution will boost graphics performance on laptops and small form factor computers that may otherwise fall short for demanding games. You can output the enhanced graphics to four monitors. Best of all, the GPU you install is upgradeable, so you can easily stay current with the latest generation high-performance graphics tech — something gaming laptops can’t offer.
