CFexpress Type A G Series with high-capacity lineup

The CFexpress Type A G Series lineup has capacity up to 1920 GB, for long video shoots and high-speed still image bursts. The 1920 GB (CEA-G1920T), the 960 GB (CEA-G960T), the 480 GB (CEA-G480T), and the 240 GB (CEA-G240T) cards support the CFexpress 4 standard11, with read speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1700 MB/s12. Built tough for pro use, they offer 5x the drop strength and 10x the bend resistance of the CFexpress Type A standard13, along with dust and moisture resistance.14

Extraordinary response speed

The 1920 GB (CEA-G1920T), the 960 GB (CEA-G960T), the 480 GB (CEA-G480T), and the 240 GB (CEA-G240T) cards use advanced flash memory control technology to deliver write speeds of up to 1700 MB/s and read speeds of up to 1800 MB/s15, reducing data transfer wait times when used with the optional MRW-G3 card reader.

Dependable videography

Sony's CFexpress Type A cards are optimised for continuous, high-bandwidth data writing, making them ideal for professional high-bitrate video recording, such as 4K 120p capture, where dependability is critical. They also carry the VPG (Video Performance Guarantee) 400 certification for extra reassurance and video recording stability.

Faster workflows with our CFexpress Type A card reader

Optimised for Sony's CFexpress Type A memory cards, the optional MRW-G3 card reader16 lets you transfer data via USB 40Gbps interface and take full advantage of high-speed backups and more efficient workflows.

For the roughest places

Thanks to Sony's unique TOUGH specification, our CFexpress Type A cards offer over ten times greater bend resistance than standard CFexpress cards. Designed for absolute dependability, their rigidity is tested to 150 newtons to protect your card data during drops from up to 7.5 metres – five times17 that mandated by the CFexpress Type A standard18.

For the toughest conditions

You can rely on Sony's CFexpress Type A memory cards to work faultlessly in extreme temperatures, harsh electrostatic environments, and under intense UV light and X-rays. With IP57-rated dust and moisture ingress protection14, your data is safe even from a drop at the beach or accidentally getting tossed in the washing machine18.

File Rescue: Recover lost files

Even if things go wrong, you can avoid disaster with downloadable rescue software for Sony memory card customers that recovers accidentally deleted files and corrupted photos and videos in various common formats19.
