2/3" 20x High-Performance HD Zoom Lens from Canon

The Canon KJ20x8.2B KRSD combines impressive specifications with a compact design that ensures superior performance and ease of use. This 20x zoom lens boasts a maximum zoom speed of 1.0 second across the entire zoom range and a minimum object distance of 0.9 meters (10mm with Macro). Its focal length spans from a wide-angle 8.2mm (offering a 60.7-degree horizontal field of view in a 16:9 aspect ratio) to 164mm. With a maximum aperture of f/1.9, this lens delivers exceptional operational capabilities in a lightweight package of just 1.25 kg.

Superior Optical Performance

The KJ20x8.2B KRSD is engineered for superior optical performance in its class. With enhanced MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) control across the image plane, minimized chromatic aberration, and maximized image contrast, the lens ensures outstanding picture sharpness.

Contrast is enhanced by reducing flare, veiling glare, and internal reflections. The lens maintains tight control over geometric distortion at wide-angle settings and meets HDTV colorimetric standards for spectral transmittance. Optimized light distribution at wider apertures ensures uniform brightness, sharp images, and high contrast, allowing operators to capture clear, vivid HD visuals.

Advanced Technology for Pristine Imaging

The Canon KJ20x8.2B KRSD's optical performance benefits from Canon's advanced innovations. A newly designed optical system, incorporating precision optical elements and multilayer coatings, significantly improves chromatic aberration control. Canon’s Internal Focus technology, a floating optical system, further enhances image quality. The lens also features Shuttle Shot, a digital drive system that enables precise, instant zooming between pre-programmed focal lengths.

Rugged, Reliable, and Environmentally Friendly

Manufactured to Canon’s rigorous standards, the KJ20x8.2B KRSD includes user-friendly features such as a compact drive unit angled at 12.5 degrees for enhanced comfort and balance during operation. Like all of Canon’s current lenses, it is designed with environmental sustainability in mind, eliminating harmful materials and substances. Its durable design makes it versatile for a wide range of shooting scenarios, providing flexibility alongside high-end performance.
