Canon T15HD 1.5× HD Tele-Side Converter

Excellent Condition

The Canon T15HD 1.5× HD Tele-Side Converter is a professional optical accessory designed to extend the telephoto reach of compatible Canon HD broadcast lenses. Providing a 1.5× focal length conversion, it enables camera operators to capture distant subjects with greater magnification without changing their existing broadcast lens.

Designed for professional HDTV production, the T15HD is particularly suited to sports broadcasting, wildlife filming, news gathering, ENG/EFP, live events and outside broadcast applications where additional telephoto reach is required.

Unlike conventional rear-mounted extenders, the T15HD is a front-mounted tele-side converter. Canon specifies that the original lens's f-number remains unchanged, allowing operators to achieve increased focal length without the corresponding change in maximum aperture normally associated with rear extenders.

The converter is optimised for the telephoto portion of the zoom range and is intended for use with compatible Canon broadcast lenses and the appropriate mounting adapter.
