Make The Most Of Summer With GoPro Accessories

Whether you are jetting off abroad or staying right here in the UK, summer is definitely the time for getting out and enjoying the great outdoors but with so much to do and so little time, you can be forgiven for not wanting to forget those fun-filled moments. GoPro cameras are some of the most versatile and durable that are available in today’s market and they can be used for almost anything when accompanied with some of the amazing accessories that are out there. Below, we have rounded up some of our favourites which are available in our online store.

First, we have the GoPro surf mounts – don’t be fooled by the name though, because as well as surf boards they can also be used on stand up paddle boards, kayaks, boat decks and most other water activities. The surf mount uses a strong adhesive to stick the GoPro down, allowing you to record amazing footage as you attempt to battle the waves. Second is the GoPro chest mount, also known as ‘the chesty’. This great piece of kit is fully adjustable to fit all body sizes and is a really easy way to capture immersive video footage. The chesty is perfect for mountain biking, paddle sports or even skiing (depending on where you are jetting off to over the summer…) allowing you to capture more of your limb movements while being right in the middle of the action. Third up we have the GoPro front helmet mount which positions the camera like a headlamp on your head, capturing pretty much as close as you will get to a POV shot. You can also extend the mount to face down into your face in order to get self-portrait footage which is great for sky diving, as you can see here.

Fourth, The Strap by GoPro allows you to strap the camera to your legs, arms or wrists to capture truly unique footage. It features a 360° rotation and tilt so you can shoot hands-free at any angle. It can be used to film absolutely anything from scuba diving to water slides (as this lady demonstrates).

Fifth on our list of GoPro accessories is the Fetch – a dog harness with two camera mounts that allows you to see the world from your favourite canine’s point of view. The soft padded construction of the harness keeps your dog comfortable while it records POV shots, using dual chest and back mounts, of bone-chewing, digging and running around all summer long. Finally, the telescopic pole is one of the classic GoPro accessories that can be used in all sorts of scenarios from skiing, to skateboarding to simply capturing everyday happenings from a better angle. The pole has four stages of telescopic adjustments, a removable GoPro WiFi remote clip, a threaded ¼ inch tripod at the base of the pole and a wrist strap for added security – it’s much more than just a pole!
