The DPA 3506 is a complete 4006-TL Stereo Kit with two carefully factory-matched phantom powered (P48) condenser microphones. The DPA 3506 also includes a Stereo Boom and the complete range of DPA Acoustic Modification Accessories, all in a sturdy carrying case with a foam insert.
The specially selected DPA 4006-TL microphones are matched within +/- 0.5 dB on both frequency range, sensitivity and self noise. The maximum phase response difference from 50 Hz to 20 kHz is 10 degrees. The high sensitivity, the low noise-floor and the extremely linear frequency response from 15 Hz to 20 kHz (+/-2 dB) of the microphone pair makes the DPA 3506 the perfect choice for all professional A-B Stereo recordings.

It has adjustment possibilities for both microphone spacing and microphone angle. The boom can be mounted on a stand, or suspended from wires, and has centimeter graduations on the boom and angle graduations on the microphone holders for quick and easy configuration of the recording set-up.
The UA0836 is supplied with two UA0961 Microphone Holders, but can also be ordered without the holders (UA0837). Any microphone holder will fit the boom.
The stereo boom can be fitted with the DUA0019 19 mm spacer, which allows you to assemble an XY stereo or ORTF stereo setup with two cardioid microphones.

The UA0897 Shock Mount is designed for use in environments where vibration levels are unusually high. Its ultra-compact, robust design significantly reduces the amount of vibration, that reaches the microphone without having adverse acoustical effects. This shock mount was designed using modern vibration measuring techniques, using Brüel & Kjær's world famous vibration test equipment. Unlike other shock mounts, the vibration reduction is clearly specified. It can be used stand mounted in the studio, or in hand-held boom applications.
Use extra soft Rubber Mounts for the more lightweight microphones and medium soft for the heavier types.
The UA0897 is supplied as standard with the DDS0731 Rubber Mounts for 19 mm microphones. The UA0897 is fitted with a thread adapter, which allows usage on up to three of the most popular international standard threads used on microphone stands.
